How to clean a sandblasting pot

A sand filter uses special filter sand to remove tiny impurities from the pool water. The filter sand, acting as the filter medium, fills the filter chamber. When the control knob is in the "FILTER" position, pool water containing suspended particulate matter is pumped into the filter unit and then guided to the filter outlet via a control valve. After passing through the filter, the tiny impurities are trapped and removed by the sand bed. The filtered clear water passes through the bottom of the filter, the control valve, and then returns to the pool via pipes. The entire process is continuous and automatic, forming a complete cycle of the filter and piping system. After using the sand filter for some time, accumulated impurities will obstruct the water flow and reduce filtration efficiency. At this point, the filter needs cleaning. For example, switching the control valve to the "BACKWASH" position reverses the water flow, directly reaching the bottom of the filter chamber, then backwashing upwards through the sand layer to flush the trapped impurities and residue out through the drain. After each backwash, the control valve should be switched to the "RINSE" position, the pump should be turned on for 0.5 to 1 minute and then turned off, and then switched back to the "FILTER" position to resume normal filtration.
