Skimmers are used for small and medium-sized swimming pools. Usually, when the swimming pool water area is ≤350 square meters, a skimmer is used. If there is no 25-50 square meters of water area, one skimmer is used, and a swimming pool should have no less than 2 skimmers. Outdoor swimming pools are installed in the leeward direction (north wall swimming pool) during the swimming season, and 50% to 70% of the water flow can be processed by the skimmer. Different pollution conditions can be treated specially, and special treatment of 0-100% of the skimmer may also occur. Skimmers are used to treat impurities with a specific gravity less than 1kg/l and equal to 1kg/l, while bottom drainage is used to treat impurities with a specific gravity greater than 1kg/l and equal to 1kg/l. Overflow pools are used for physical treatment of large swimming pools and must be equipped with a balancing water tank. 70%-100% of the water flow can be processed by the overflow pool, and the overflow pool can overflow around the pool edge or on the two long sides of the pool. Bottom drainage is also involved in the circulation filtration. The function of the overflow pool is the same as that of the skimmer, treating impurities with a specific gravity less than 1kg/l and equal to 1kg/l, while using bottom drainage to treat impurities with a specific gravity greater than 1kg/l and equal to 1kg/l. This circulation method also treats pollutants of different specific gravities scientifically.

Note: The balancing water tank is not built in the equipment room, but is built next to the swimming pool with concrete, which facilitates sewage suction and chemical treatment. In a static state, the swimming pool water level and the balancing water tank water level are at the same underground level. After the system is working, the circulating water pump draws water from the balancing water tank, and after the circulation, filtration, heating, and disinfection system, it is supplemented to the swimming pool. The water level of the balancing water tank drops, and the water level of the swimming pool rises, forming a water level difference. In this way, the overflow pool can return water, and impurities with a specific gravity less than 1kg/l and equal to 1kg/l can flow out. At this time, the bottom drainage can work at the same time, and impurities with a specific gravity greater than 1kg/l and equal to 1kg/l can flow out. It should be noted that if water is supplied from the bottom of the pool, the so-called "short flow" phenomenon can be ignored, because the water entering the swimming pool from the water supply port immediately mixes with the untreated swimming pool water after entering the pool, and the mixed sewage returning to the bottom drainage cannot be called "short flow" - swimming pool equipment -
