Private swimming pools are primarily limited by the size of the site. They are generally smaller, ranging from a few meters to over ten meters in length, with a water volume typically under 100 cubic meters. Unlike public pools, private pools generally have higher water quality standards than public pools, making the choice of villa pool equipment particularly important.

What kind of pool equipment should be chosen for a private villa?

The size of a private swimming pool is limited by the size of the site, and is usually not large, ranging from a few meters to over ten meters in length, with a water capacity generally within 100 cubic meters. Unlike public swimming pools, private swimming pools generally have higher water quality requirements than public swimming pools' hygiene standards, therefore Villa swimming pool equipment selection is crucial.

Villa swimming pool equipment is mainly divided into the following three categories:

1. Filtration equipment: such as sand filters, pumps, etc. In the initial design of a villa swimming pool, the selection of filtration system equipment is very important, as it relates to the water filtration capacity. The flow rate matching of the sand filter and pump needs to be strictly calculated and matched according to the swimming pool technical regulations.

Traditional sand filter media is quartz sand; however, newer glass filter media is now available on the market, offering better water filtration.

The pump is the most important electromechanical equipment in villa swimming pool equipment. Considering the overall water capacity is not large, it is recommended to choose a low-power, low-flow, low-speed (1450 rpm) pump to reduce noise and improve safety and energy efficiency.

2. Disinfection equipment: The choice of disinfection equipment is related to whether the swimming pool water can truly effectively kill bacteria. Good disinfection equipment can kill various bacteria, such as E. coli, making the water clear and transparent. Currently, the most popular disinfection equipment on the market includes copper-silver ion sterilizers and salt chlorine generators. These physical disinfection methods have no toxic side effects on the human body and do not require medication.

3. Constant temperature equipment: Nowadays, many swimming pools not only meet the needs of summer use, but are also increasingly popular in winter. But how to turn tens of tons of cold water into warm water? The traditional way to heat villa swimming pools is to use a gas boiler to heat the swimming pool water through a heat exchanger. However, this method requires gas pipelines, which many southern regions do not have. Currently, the most environmentally friendly and energy-saving way to heat swimming pools on the market is air-source heat pump circulation heating. The pool water is continuously heated by the air-source heat pump through the circulation filtration system and then sent back to the pool. With long-term circulation, the water temperature can be kept constant at around 28℃.

A beautiful villa swimming pool not only enhances the villa landscape but also emphasizes its practicality, allowing swimming to truly play its role. Therefore, the selection of villa swimming pool equipment is the key to making the pool truly outstanding, combining landscape and practicality to complement each other and achieve a perfect presentation.
