Based on the original natural water source, air dust and pollutants brought in by swimmers will cause the pool water to turn green and turbid within three to seven days, then yellow or black. Usually, the solution is to increase the water replenishment, remove green algae, or regularly replace the water to clean the pool.
3. Full ecological treatment
As the name suggests, this is a method of biological treatment using nitrifying bacteria, which is more common in Europe. It requires a complex ecological cycle design and has requirements for the setting of skimmers on the windward side, testing the landscape designer's ability to configure a green cycle system; the pool water purification process is through the roots and stems of aquatic plants absorbing and filtering pollutants in the water, the so-called "green purification effect", then passing through a wall made of rocks, rubble, or pebbles, using nitrifying bacteria bedded on porous materials for secondary conversion, and finally returning to the swimming pool; a well-designed full ecological biological treatment system treats the pool water very cleanly and clearly, but it is not easy to maintain, the most troublesome problem in pool water treatment is wild algae, which often appears in the first year after the pool is built, but as other aquatic plants take root and grow in the water or on the shore, the root system gradually develops, taking away the nutrients needed for algae growth, and the algae will eventually die out.
