What should I do if the motor suddenly stops running?

1. Check the circuit and wire connections.

2. Check if the voltage supplied to the motor is too low (usually due to insufficient current caused by wires that are too small).

3. Check for overloads that cause excessive current.

Swimming pool pump How to perform daily maintenance?

1. Regularly check and clean the strainer basket. When cleaning, do not strike the strainer basket. If the strainer basket is damaged, replace it immediately.

2. Regularly check the pump head cover seal. If damaged, replace it immediately.

3. Keep the motor clean and ensure the motor air vents are unobstructed.

4. In some cases, the motor shaft seal may wear out and should be replaced promptly.

5. In winter, remove any accumulated water from the pump head, clean the inside and outside of the pump, and store the pump in a dry and well-ventilated indoor area. What should I do if the equipment has insufficient water output?

1. Check if the strainer baskets of the water pump and pool surface skimmer, and the main drain are clogged with debris.

2. Check if the suction pipe is blocked or if the suction pipe is too small.

3. Check if all valves on the suction pipe and discharge pipe are fully open.

4. Check if the filter and discharge pipe are clogged (increased reading on the filter pressure gauge).

5. Check for air leaks in the suction pipe (air bubbles coming from the injector).

6. Water pump running at low speed (low voltage).

7. Water impeller is stuck.

What should I do if the water pump makes unusual noises during operation?

1. Check if the suction pipe is leaking, causing the water pump to make noise.

2. Check for cavitation caused by a blocked suction pipe, a suction pipe that is too small, or a discharge pipe that is too large. If necessary, increase the size of the suction pipe or use a valve to control the discharge flow rate.

3. Check for vibrations caused by improper installation of the water pump.

4. Foreign objects in the pump head.

5. Damage to the motor bearings due to wear, corrosion, or prolonged overheating.

Daily maintenance of the filter

When the filter element needs cleaning, turn off the power to the water pump, close the main suction and discharge valves, pull up the safety pin on the filter cover, unscrew the top cover counterclockwise, remove the filter element, and rinse the inside and outside of the filter element with tap water using a garden pressure nozzle.
